Privacy Notice
Last updated September 17, 2026. This notice covers the early-access waitlist and the research questions attached to it. It does not describe a live product, because there isn't one yet.
What we collect
Your first name and email address, the role you selected, the problem you chose, and whatever optional research answers you provide. We also record the page that referred you, any campaign parameters in the link, your browser user-agent, and a one-way hash of your IP address used only to detect automated abuse. We do not store your IP address itself.
What we deliberately do not collect
We do not ask for Social Security numbers, dates of birth, driver’s-licence or passport images, bank or payment-card details, tenant names, exact rental addresses connected to an incident, criminal, medical, disability, immigration or protected-class information, copies of leases, ledgers, notices, photographs or dispute evidence, or private details about another person. Please do not include any of it in the free-text fields. If you do, tell us and we will remove it.
Why we use it
To evaluate whether this product should exist and to design it if so. Responses are read by the product team, aggregated into research findings, and used to decide who to interview. That is the whole purpose.
What we do not do with it
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with landlords, property managers, tenant-screening companies or background-check providers. No response you give here is connected to any housing decision about you or anyone else — the form is a research instrument, not a screening tool.
Internal prioritisation
We rank waitlist entries internally to decide who to contact first for research interviews. This ranking reflects nothing but how informative a conversation is likely to be. It is never a risk score, is never shown to a landlord or property manager, and has no bearing on housing eligibility.
The waitlist is not a tenant record
Joining does not create a record about you or anyone else, and nothing you submit here is used in, or made available for, any housing, screening, tenancy or eviction decision. The waitlist exists to do product research and nothing else.
Campaign and variant data
If you arrive from a campaign link we record which campaign it was and which version of the page copy you saw, so we can tell which messages reach the right people. This is about the page, not about you, and it is never combined with anything outside this waitlist.
Marketing consent
You receive product updates and research invitations only because you actively checked the box. The box is never pre-checked. Every email carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing is immediate and permanent.
Interviews
Agreeing to be contacted for a research interview is separate, optional, and revocable. Joining the waitlist never requires one, and declining costs you nothing.
Access and deletion
Email us and we will send you a copy of everything we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. We do not require a reason and we do not charge for it.
Retention
We keep responses for as long as the research programme is active, then delete or aggregate them. Your contact record is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove it.
